Its a grand old place, well located and with lots to offer but needs to be loved. the building is stunning, elegantly furnished to suit the period, Staff and manager are lovely too. close to a lot of great wineries.

Staff were super friendly, and the room was so clean and tidy! We received a free bottle of wine with our stay which was a great bonus, and there was also free brekky (although my partner and I were too lazy and slept in haha). We had dinner there as well, and we were given a table in a quiet corner by the fire which was soooo cosy, especially on such a cold winter night. We felt well taken care of! The hotel is a beautiful historic building and was only 10 mins away from a winery we went to for lunch, and close to Healesville as well. There are also plenty of options around to eat as well, but the restaurant on site is worth it!

Such a beautiful establishment! I fell in love with the place as soon as I entered the property! The staff were wonderful and very helpful.

A heritage listed establishment with a very comfortable balcony suite (2 rooms),with a verandah access and views over the street. Very comfortable bed and nice linen/pillows. Aircon great as the night was chilly. Shower over the bath with excellent hot water delivery. Good quality continental breakfast with the host supplying a barista coofee of you choice.

Lovely original building, super clean room, warm and cosy on a chilly night, came with a hand written note and a lovely gift of bed socks which I didn't actually need as the room was lovely and toasty, and a bottle of red. Great and tasty meal options in the restaurant. Continental breakfast was also complementary. Good barista coffee made for me in the morning. All staff were super friendly, helpful and welcoming and facilitated a late check in with out any problem.

Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. All amenities you could need, even earplugs. Well located. Really well priced. Staff were friendly. We would stay again. Did use breakfast as we had to leave early but was great inclusion.

Great Location. Fantastic staff. Well stocked and equipped kitchen. Great space for a large family. Nice to have books and board games / cards etc. Good supply of pool towels. Kids loved the pool! Plenty of sheets and pillows. Comfy sofas. Very clean property.

A big room, recently renovated, painted and carpeted throughout the hotel. Continental breakfast was included. Friendly staff.

The bed was very comfortable and the room very quiet. The bathroom was clean and tidy, however I didn't like the shower over the bath as I felt it was a risk to slip and fall. Breakfast was excellent, fresh and satisfiying. I would certainly stay there again

The beautiful old pub/hotel is full of character with rooms carefully decorated in keeping with the era. They were clean and cosy. The staff were very friendly and professional. We also had dinner in the hotel and enjoyed a continental breakfast in the morning which was more than adequate. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay.
